Circa 1900 this exquisite antique Art Nouveau 9ct yellow gold pendant is a transitional Victorian to Edwardian piece and is set with gorgeous natural opal gemstones that have a superb play of colour, they are pastel blue and green and flood with red fire as they move - difficult to capture on camera.
A quality piece (the gold gauge isn't thin and flimsy) the pendant is a warm rosy gold. It is composed in a heart shaped design and carpeted in tiny seed pearls, the heart shaped bale at the top has a little gold bead stopper that keeps it perfectly positioned and prevents it sliding through the connecting loop.
The pendant can be purchased with a new 9ct yellow gold 18"/ 45cm fine curb chain as pictured or you can purchase the pendant alone if you prefer. The chain is stamped '375' for 9ct gold.
