This aristocratic Georgian intaglio seal fob pendant is crafted in an elegant Regency openwork design in warm old 18ct gold that has a lovely rosy gleam.
The pièce de résistance is the large Carnelian gemstone seal that is carved in a wonderfully chivalrous design. This armorial coat of arms engraving presents as a shield with a pair of knight's legs inside. The legs are encased in medieval leg armour complete with spurs and the shield is topped in a ribbon bow. Steeped in gallantry, this piece really makes us wonder who might have owned such an intriguing gold fob!
A fabulous and rare collector's piece with so much history to explore this gold fob pendant is complete with a hanging loop ready to attach to your favorite gold chain. Please note the chain shown is not included.
