A very pretty and feminine Victorian 15ct gold tourmaline, emerald and pearl ring stamped with good clear hallmarks for Birmingham in 1874.
The ring is made in warm rosy gold and features 4 rose-cut raspberry pink tourmalines accented by 2 tiny mine cut green emeralds and milky white natural seed pearls. The beautiful gemstones are enhanced by ornate gold work, tiny gold beads nestle in between them with the face edged in twisted gold wirework at the top and bottom. Not to be outdone the shoulders are finished in intricate engraving that travels all of the way around the band.

CONDITION: in very good antique condition with gentle signs of wear and aged patina as expected in an antique ring. The stones are securely set and we see no obvious damage to them, just slight scuffing and the natural inclusions you'd expect to see in natural earth-mined gemstones
