A very high quality, all original sterling silver Victorian book chain bracelet that is an absolute beauty and effortlessly wearable.

The bracelet features a double band of round links which are decorated with round silver discs that have cut out star motifs. A row of silver beads on the top and bottom add to the lovely decoration. It fastens at the front with a beautiful engraved box clasp and it has a safety chain.

It is unusual to find this gorgeous Victorian chain design in a bracelet, we have seen it before but only used for necklaces.

The bracelet is nice and wide so perfect for wear as a beautiful antique signature piece when you want to create an impact, a rare must have for the antique jewelry lover and collector alike!

An interesting piece of jewellery trivia: Book Chains were very fashionable in Britain during the Victorian Aesthetic era 1860-1900, they were called book chains, not because of a certain type of chain link, but because Victorian ladies took them off and used them as placeholders in books whilst reading!

MEASUREMENTS: end to end 7-1/2" (19cm) with a wearable length of about 7-1/4", width 1" (2.5cm), the silver beads are 5mm
