A captivating and very collectable vintage 1980's Attwood and Sawyer Bird of Paradise Brooch. Plated in luxurious 22ct yellow gold the brooch is decorated in vivid blue and green enamelling and pave set in sparkling clear crystal stones. Superb quality the brooch has a rollover clasp and is signed 'A&S' on the reverse.
This beautiful brooch measures 2-1/2"/6.3cm tall, 1-1/4"/3cm across and weighs 17 grams. In excellent vintage condition with no wear to the gold plating and no missing stones or enamel loss.
Attwood & Sawyer, a British company that created high quality costume jewellery copied from 18th & 19th century designs, went on to produce costume jewellery for the television series Dynasty. Popular with celebrities of the day many of Attwood & Sawyer pieces are now highly collectable!
