A beautiful vintage 9ct yellow gold spinner fob pendant, hallmarked in London in 1965 and crafted by the respected Hatton Garden jewellers Fred Manshaw. The firm's founder, Manfred Durst, was one of the children rescued from Nazi persecution through Britain's Kindertransport programme. After arriving in Britain, he went on to build a successful jewellery business, becoming known for beautifully crafted pieces inspired by Victorian and Art Nouveau design.
This elegant pendant features an ornate openwork mount of flowing scrolls and stylised floral motifs framing a striking three-sided natural carnelian. The gemstone displays a rich honeyed caramel-red colour with a superb glassy polish and rotates effortlessly within its mount, allowing each smoothly polished face to catch the light.
A generous 5mm gold jump ring makes it easy to wear on your favourite chain or add to a substantial charm bracelet. Note the chain shown is not included.
