An adorable trio of vintage sterling silver small brooches inspired by the iconic ‘Glasgow Rose’ motifs of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. Drawing directly from the sinuous lines and stylised floral forms associated with him and the Art Nouveau movement, each brooch captures the distinctive geometry and romantic symbolism of the Glasgow School aesthetic.
Crafted in three complementary silhouettes — round, marquise, and oval — the brooches feature elegant openwork designs that allow light to pass through the silver, enhancing their sculptural quality when worn. Two are set with smooth, glossy black onyx cabochons, providing dramatic contrast against the cool lustre of the sterling silver and emphasising the linear rose motif.
