A sophisticated vintage 1970s English sterling silver heart locket in an elegant Art Deco design with a line of guilloche engraved circles down the centre and a sweet fan shaped fluted bale decorating the top
A good quality locket it opens from the side to reveal 2 stations for photos along with the original picture rings, paper liners and an acetate photo covers. It has a sturdy hinge and closes firmly.
We have added a new Italian sterling silver trace chain. With diamond cut flat links that add an extra sparkle and echo the pattern on the locket this beauty is now ready to wear right out of the box. She is a perfect medium size too, ideal for daily wear and a would make a lovely vintage jewellery gift for a loved one.

HALLMARKS: stamped 'SIL' & 'BK-FT' which is an older mark found on British lockets, it just means that the locket is essentially sterling silver and the inner frame is a harder metal (this type of construction results in a hard-wearing more durable locket). The chain is stamped '925'

CONDITION: in excellent vintage condition with minimal light wear and faint surface scratches as expected in a vintage piece.
