A charming vintage Wedgwood black jasperware brooch depicting Cupid (Eros) in crisp white classical relief against a deep matte black ground. The finely detailed jasperware plaque is securely mounted in a gold vermeil setting (gold-plated sterling silver), framed by an elegant beaded border that beautifully enhances the neoclassical design.
Presented in its original blue leatherette Wedgwood box, this is a particularly complete and well-preserved example. The reverse is fitted with a sturdy pin and rolling safety clasp for secure wear.
