Russell's (becoming Russell's Ltd. in 1894) is a historic jeweller and watchmaker dating back to 1745 with an official Royal Warrant to make clocks for Queen Victoria. MATERIALS: kidskin leather covered wood, gold gilt fittings, cream velvet and satin interior.

CONDITION: in great condition considering its age and materials, the gold lettering is still crisp and vibrant, the cream interior is clean, the blue leather is still shiny and supple, being kidskin it is a thin leather, only tiny areas of scuffing around the edges and bottom noted . The hook fastener and hinge is in perfect order.
