A delightfully decorated English sterling silver laurel wreath fob hallmarked for Birmingham 1929. This piece was once worn on by a gent on a pocket watch chain but she's now a unique pendant that you can admire and wear daily.
This is a fairly large piece crafted in heavy gauge solid silver and it is embellished in a Laurel wreath around the outside edge. Laurel wreaths represent victory, a great piece to celebrate a special achievement, there is a vacant shield shaped cartouche in the centre so you could choose to have it engraved for a personal touch.
The top is finished in a heavy duty D-shaped bale and it still has its original jump ring stamped with the British lion passant for sterling. We have added a small silver jump ring and a new Italian sterling silver mini Belcher chain for immediate wear, with its D-shaped links the Belcher complements the pendant style perfectly. A fab piece, this triumphant pendant is ready to wear right out of the box!

HALLMARKS: stamped 'lion passant' for sterling silver, 'anchor' for Birmingham, date letter 'E' for 1929. Also stamped 'R.P.' in a shield, makers mark for Robert Pringle & Sons, London.
ERA: Art Deco, dated 1929
CONDITION: in excellent vintage condition with minor surface wear and light scratches in keeping with age. This piece has been professionally cleaned and polished so it is ready to wear or give as a gift.
