A very sweet English Victorian 9ct gold 3 sided spinner fob pendant complete with a fine 9ct gold chain. This is a lady's fob so it is quite petite and delicately formed.
Beautifully detailed the pendant features gold filigree scrollwork with a black onyx, orange carnelian and green bloodstone oval cabochon mounted in decorative dog tooth claws on the 3 sides. It has a gold closed jump ring at the top and supends from a lightweight gold trace chain with delicate oval links.
Lovely quality and workmanship, a dainty antique gem bound to be treasured!
MATERIALS: 9ct gold pendant, 9ct gold chain
GEMSTONES: Onyx, bloodstone, carnelian, Presidium tested, approx. 10x8mm
MEASUREMENTS: pendant approx. 1" (2.5cm) tall including the height of the jump ring and 3/4" (2cm) wide. Chain 18" (47cm)
WEIGHT: 2.8 grams total (pendant 2 grams, chain 0.8 grams)
HALLMARKS: pendant '375' for 9ct gold, 'leopards head' for London, chain stamped '375'
DATE: circa 1900, Victorian
CONDITION: in very, very good used antique condition with expected signs of wear and use. There is no damage to the stones and the fob spins freely. The chain is handmade with thin gauge gold links and the chain clasp works as it should, please see photos.
