This adorable tiny little Victorian cravat pin is carved out of Whitby Jet, an ancient mineral gemstone found in and around the cliffs in Whitby, a seaside hamlet in England. Just imagine wearing something a 180 million years old.
Equally at home on the lapel, the jet is hand-carved into an intricate bow shape that looks rather like a Christmas cracker! The brooch has a sturdy brass pin back with a c-clasp and is in very good antique condition with just light surface wear.
