A lovely warm rosy 9ct gold Edwardian picture pendant hallmarked for 1903. It currently displays two charming black and white period photos of a lady and young girl, perhaps a mother and daughter. You could replace these with your own precious photos or another flat keepsake, perhaps a scrap of fabric or a lock of hair.
The pendant opens by unscrewing the round gold bead at the top allowing access to the inside. The thick glass covers have bevelled edges and are flat on the inside. The screw mechanism is in good order, it aligns properly and screws tightly closed. The pendant's 'spectacle setting' gold frame is paper thin and shows some surface wear and dings consistent with age and moderate use. Please refer to the photos. Note any dark spots are reflections.
We have added a new rose gold vermeil (gold plated sterling silver) belcher/rolo chain so this pendant is ready to wear right out of the box or give as a gift. Despite the wear and tear it still remains a lovely antique piece that deserves to be treasured again and we have priced her accordingly.
