Hallmarked in 1912, this antique English silver double Albert/Albertina watch chain is daintily proportioned (it is far from being thick and chunky) and it benefits from 2 dog-clips, a T-bar and a delightfully feminine engraved fob decorated with a silver heart motif on one side and a gold shield on the other.
The chain is a very versatile length so in addition to being worn as a pocket watch chain it can be worn as a short necklace or wrapped around the wrist twice and worn as a unique bracelet. The fine gauge curb links are stamped with a lion passant for sterling on nearly every link -- always a sign of a quality watch chain.
This delicate double Albert watch chain is in very good condition with expected signs of use and and antique age like surface wear and light scratches. The clips are in perfect working order.

MEASUREMENTS: 15-1/4" (39cm) long end to end (measured between clip to clip). Fob drop 3" (6cm) long, 3.6mm wide. Fob 1-1/2"x1" (3x2.5cm). T-bar 1-3/6" (3.5cm). The curb chain graduates from 5mm wide in the centre to 3.5mm wide at the ends. Connecting round links approx 8mm & 6mm diameter
