A fabulous and iconic antique British arts and crafts pottery brooch impressed with the Ruskin stamp on the back. The oval glazed ceramic disc is a rich violet blue colour with darker veining, a shade very popular in the Edwardian era during the height of the suffragette movement.
The ceramic is held in an elegant open backed sterling silver bezel and a sturdy long pin back with a t-hinge and c-clasp completes this lovely example of genuine Ruskin art pottery, very Bloomsbury set and highly collectible!
