Exquisite antique Victorian sterling silver pendant cross set with genuine deep purple amethysts and icy blue topaz gemstones.
This is a fairly large cross with the stones set in bezel cups set against and enamelled black background with small gold milgrain beads accent the edge of the cross. The stones are open backed allowing light to shine through enhancing the sparkle.
The cross has a large fan shaped wide bale that is hinged so it can be worn with a variety of chain weights or a ribbon, so lots of versatility. Beautiful quality and fine workmanship and condition making for a truly lovely and distinctive pendant. Chain not included.
MATERIALS: acid tested, sterling silver, 9ct gold beading
GEMSTONES: amethyst, blue topaz, Presidium tested
MEASUREMENTS: 2-1/2" (65mm) high including bale, 1-1/2" (40mm) wide
HALLMARKS: stamped with worn marks on the back which we are unable to read

CONDITION: Excellent antique condition showing expected signs of age and normal wear with no flaws noted. The gemstones are damage free and the hinge is in perfect working order. Please refer to photos.
