Crafted in high grade 950 silver the brooch is fashioned as a large bow with 2 asymmetric tassel drops. The beautiful filigree tracery is formed into curves providing dimension that mimics gathers in a ribbon. The centre of the bow is decorated in a flower motif that is tiered with a silver bead on the top adding even more to the dimensional aspect. The tassel drops are equally as ornate with coiled rods dangling from the bottom.
A simple t-hinge and c-clasp complete this exceptional piece that showcases the incredible intricacy of filigree jewellery. Filigree is a delicate form of metal work in silver or gold made with tiny beads or twisted threads, or a combination of both soldered together and arranged in artistic motifs.
