This antique sterling silver Scottish hardstone spinner fob is a lovely example of Victorian jewellery. Once worn on a gents watch chain she is now a distinctive pendant that you can adore and wear daily.
Bearing hallmarks for 1889 the spinner is set in a round slice of earthy brown jasper agate on one side with the other side set with a slice of dark red carnelian. The frame at the top features a decorative figure of eight hinged bracket and a silver suspension ring.
A quality vintage sterling silver curb chain completes this piece that remains in very good antique condition. There is light surface wear and minor tarnish commensurate with age. The Scottish stones are free of damage, just minimal scuffs around the edge and natural inclusions as you would expect in natural gemstones. The spinning mechanism works perfectly so you can spin away to your heart's content.
