A superb and striking vintage 1960's modernist sterling silver and chalcedony pendant by Erika Hult de Corral. Erika was an award-winning Taxco (Mexico) based jewellery designer who studied at the Parson’s School of Design in Paris and worked with famous Taxco masters Sigi Pineda and Enrique Ledesma before opening her own studio. Her work is sought after and collectible.
This is a large pendant crafted in a sinuous and tactile biomorphic form. The centre is set with a deep forest green chalcedony gemstone and it has a built-in bale on the reverse that will happily accommodate most style of chain or a solid silver wire choker. Please note the chain shown in the photos is not included.
A collectors dream piece the pendant is stamped with all the necessary silver marks that authenticates it as her work. Outstanding!
