Crafted in 9-carat gold, this striking vintage 1970's pendant is set with a carved & polished nephrite tiger claw that imitates the natural claws collected by Victorians in the 19th Century and worn as jewellery.
The jade has been tested using a Presidium Gem Tester and it is a lovely spinach green colour. The gemstone has a gleaming lustre and is semi-translucent and beautifully mottled when held up to the light. The jade claw is set into a hallmarked 9ct yellow gold mount with a hallmarked 9ct gold closed jump ring.
This guilt free example remains in splendid condition for wear on a chain today, a classic amulet fashioned in the most supreme of gemstones!
