An absolutely adorable vintage 1980's race horse & jockey brooch by the Cabouchon jewellery company.
Super quality with bright 18ct yellow heavy gold plating and carpeted in sparkling white Austrian crystal stones this piece is beautifully detailed with brightly coloured metallic enamelling making the design really pop. Cabouchon was a British high-end costume jewellery company whose jewellery has been worn by celebrities and royalty including Princess Diana.
The brooch measures 1-1/4"/3cm tall, 2"/5cm across and weighs 7.8 grams. It is in excellent vintage condition showing little evidence of any real wear and no noted flaws. Not marked for maker but a known piece from the Cabouchon range.
Good for the ladies or the gents, this fabulous horse & jockey brooch will catch the eye pinned on the lapel and it looks great teamed up with fine jewellery. Fabulous for wear at the races!
