This beautiful antique 15ct gold cluster ring dates to the early Victorian, late Georgian period, circa 1830, and is a graceful statement of femininity.
Crafted in warm, mellow old gold the features an elegant octagonal face centred with a sparkling rose-cut diamond, surrounded by a delicate halo of natural seed pearls. These lovely little old pearls still have a beautiful creamy lustre and show their natural qualities in the variance of grey-blue undertones they display. Each stone is secured in tiny hand-cut claws lending the ring its unmistakable antique character and giving testament to early 19th-century craftsmanship. Split shoulders flow seamlessly into a durable D-shaped band, completing the design.
Traditionally, pearls symbolise innocence and diamonds represent true love, making this a particularly evocative Georgian–Victorian jewel—both romantic and historically rich.

CONDITION: in good antique condition with age-appropriate surface wear consistent with over 200 years of history. The pearls remain in pleasing condition for their age; however, as is typical with antique pearl-set jewellery, they are not perfectly uniform and show minor natural wear commensurate with time.
