A superb 1930's Art Deco sterling silver chrysoprase cabochon ring. Chrysoprase is a relatively rare variety of the mineral chalcedony that is prized for its apple-green colour.
A quality piece the ring is crafted in an elongated oval shape with a lovely scalloped outline. The gorgeous emerald green gemstone is semi-translucent, it radiates a beautiful vivid apple-green green inner glow under certain light and it is framed by steely grey sparkling marcasites that are bead set.
A D-shaped band with nipped shoulders completes this ravishing Art Deco ring that is iconic of the jazz baby era!
