This Georgian steel wax seal fob is a rare and handsome beauty! Deeply engraved with a fox and a beautifully emblazoned shield intaglio, this one-of-a-kind fob is a must for any Georgian jewellery collection.
The fox is shown "rampant", he is walking upright with his right paw raised, which gives him an edge that we absolutely love. In historic Georgian heraldry the fox symbolises one who will use all his shrewdness, sagacity, wit or wisdom for his own defence.
