A beautiful and feminine vintage 1970s 9ct gold sapphire and diamond daisy ring.
Crafted in an ornate floral design 3 royal blue sapphires take centre stage, an elegant oval sapphire in the middle flanked by a round sapphire at each side. The sapphires are an intensely saturated deep blue with gorgeous purple undertones.
The flower petals and crossed ribbon shoulders of the ring are topped in tiny white gold milligrain beads that mimic a carpet of sparkling diamonds. To enhance the illusion 2 tiny real diamonds are set at the top and bottom of the oval sapphire adding an adorable extra twinkle to the petals. A slim gold band completes this statement of femininity in September's birthstone.

GEMSTONES: 3 sapphires total, 1 oval measures approx. 5.6x4mm (0.50ct), 2 round measure approx. 3mm (0.10ct) each, 2 tiny diamonds measure approx. 1mm (under 0.01ct) each. All gemstones are tested and confirmed using the Presidium Gemstone Tester

HALLMARKS: stamped '375 & Scales' (international convention mark for 9ct gold) 'anchor' for Birmingham, 'DIA' for diamond and 'RP' makers mark

CONDITION: in very good vintage condition with light wear as to be expected in a vintage ring. The gemstones are flaw free and securely set. The band at the back has worn slightly thinner. This ring has been professionally cleaned and polished, it's ready to wear or to give as a gift. Please see the photos (the vintage red ring box shown with the ring is not included).
