This beautiful and very feminine antique Georgian 18ct gold ring is carpeted in stunning rose cut white and pink Tourmaline's. These natural gemstones are dichroic meaning they display different colours or shades depending on the viewing angle. These stones are an amazing example of this optical effect, the larger white oval Tourmaline's (called Achroite) are full of natural misty inclusions and change to a very pale blue as the move. The smaller deep raspberry pink cushion-shaped Tourmaline's known as Rubellite display flashes of vivid hot pink.
Made in luxurious bright yellow 18ct gold the gemstones are multi-claw set and cover the whole front of the finger from side to side. They are accented at the top and bottom in gold scroll-work. Not to be outdone the shoulders are finished in intricate foliate and rhombus engraving that travels all of the way around the band.
Absolutely gorgeous, this elegant Georgian ring with its rare snow white Tourmaline's just oozes Regency femininity and charm, she will grace any antique jewellery collection
