This is a genuine fossil tooth from the extinct Carcharocles megalodon, one of the largest predators to have ever lived, dating back approximately 3.6–23 million years. The tooth has a beautifully preserved triangular form with natural surface texture and a deep, almost metallic lustre that contrasts perfectly against the clean satin finish of the silver mount.
The mount itself is substantial and well made, crafted in solid sterling silver with a softly brushed finish and a twisted rope detail that adds a subtle decorative edge without overwhelming the fossil.
