This beautiful and perfectly charming antique sterling silver button hook in miniature form is hallmarked for 1876 so a nice early piece.
Once worn by a Victorian lady on her chatelaine chain she is now a pendant you can wear daily and adore. These dainty novelty hooks were originally used to fasten the tiny buttons on gloves and we have never seen another one quite so small!
Both the hook and the handle are solid sterling silver with the handle beautifully embossed in a beautiful scrollwork pattern. We have added a new Italian sterling silver curb chain so this little beauty is ready to wear right out of the box.
Wonderful for layering and wearing alone as a quirky signature piece, a unique gift for the lover of antique jewellery!
