A sumptuous golden cognac coloured Baltic amber cabochon graces this unique vintage sterling silver modernist ring. The snake like abstract design can be worn either way up to totally vary the look.
The amber is natural, presenting murky green fluorescence under UV light and when viewed with a loupe we see plenty of feathery inclusions, a fabulous specimen! The amber is egg shaped with a lovely high domed profile.
Hallmarked for Poland on the outside of the silver band the gemstone is bezel set into a sinuous bypass style mount that lends itself beautifully to the organic nature the amber. As an added bonus amber is a good luck talisman and is thought to protect from evil!
