An early piece of Taxco sterling silver from around 1940 this Art Deco era figural horse brooch is retro in style and beautiful in both design and aged patina. It is a large size at 3-1/2" by 2-1/2" so definitely a statement piece.
Condition is excellent, it has a safety clasp and is marked "Silver Made in Mexico" an early mark often seen on old Mexican sterling.
