A beautiful bright white zircon solitaire of around 3/4 carats flanked by sparkling accent stones grace this lovely 18ct gold Art Deco period ring. Not to be confused with cubic zirconia which are synthetic, white zircons are natural gemstones that have long been used in antique jewellery because they have a strong double refraction which can surpass the brilliance and fire of the finest diamonds.
This ring is crafted in two-tone 18ct gold, yellow gold for the band with the gemstones all set in white gold. The solitaire stone is claw set in a high crown mount with the matching accent stones (2 at each side) bead set in white gold arrow motifs running around the shoulders. There are tiny natural inclusions in the gemstones that you would expect to see in earth-mined gemstones.

MATERIALS: 18ct gold
GEMSTONES: 5 white zircon, centre stone approx. 5.75mm diameter (0.75cts) accent stones 3mm approx. diameter (approx 0.10ct each). The zircon have been tested and verified using a Presidium Gemstone Tester.
RING SIZE: UK-O/ US 7-1/4 with sizing available for an additional fee (please be aware that if you choose to have the ring re-sized it is considered a customised item and is non-returnable)
MEASUREMENTS: face 6.5mm top to bottom, shoulders 2.75mm, band 2mm
HALLMARKS: stamped with an older '18ct' mark inside the band

CONDITION: in very good antique condition with light wear as expected in an antique ring. The main gemstone has light scuffing around the facet edges which can be seen in the magnified close-up photos but isn't really visible to the naked eye.
