An exquisite pair of antique Art Deco/Edwardian opal earrings crafted in gold gilt (gold plated sterling silver).
Beautiful quality and iconic of the era these elegant earrings are over 2" in length and feature scroll and bead work in a very pretty Art Nouveau arabesque design. When worn they sway with the slightest movement which creates a dazzling play of colour and fiery red flashes within the opals.
Beautifully designed to move freely and take full advantage of the natural beauty of the gemstones, the earrings have dainty bead and post tops and fasten with the original clutch backs. Just stunning!
