A magnificent pair of antique sterling silver & Bohemian Garnet pendant drop earrings. These hand-crafted beauties are solidly constructed in a Celtic knot design with beautiful red garnet cabochons in deep bezel cups. The superb garnets are cut into round, oval and teardrop shapes and possess a deep red rosy glow with flashes of pink deep within.
Made during the Arts & Crafts era, circa 1900 the earrings are top quality and are a substantial size with beautifully formed decorative shepherd hooks at the top. A gorgeous pair of antique statement earrings, hard wearing they have fabulous movement when worn.

GEMSTONES: 12 cabochon cut Bohemian garnets, Presidium tested, 6 x 6mm round, 2 x 7mm round, 2 x 8mm by 6mm ovals, 2 x 9mm by 6mm teardrops

CONDITION: in excellent condition with light surface wear to the silver as you might expect in antique earrings. The exquisite gemstones are securely set with no noted damage.
