An exceedingly pretty antique diamond set French opaline blue glass pendant hailing from the Napoleonic era.
Crafted in rich buttery 14ct yellow gold the pendant is decorated on the front in a raised silver bow motif that is set with 3 old mine cut diamonds. The rich vivid blue opaline glass is slightly transparent and framed in a cut out gold fretwork border that is chased in line patterns. A generous fan shaped bail completes this gorgeous piece that would have been the height of fashion in 1850s France.
The chain is available for purchase separately.
