A lovely Paris backed button brooch with a bright gilt metal setting and in the centre a 'Joshua Reynolds' style chromolithograph of a beautiful 18th century young woman wearing a pale grey wig and huge hat ala' Marie Antoinette. Circa 1890, the litho is set under glass and is framed in a row of claw set clear French paste stones with a gold beaded border. A sturdy pin back with a c-clasp and t-hinge completes this charming and sentimental Victorian brooch.
