Dating to the turn of the 20th century and French in origin this exquisite fibula pin is very finely wrought in silver with gold filigree and cannetille work and set with tiny vibrant blue turquoise gemstones.
The beautiful and very delicate ornamentation featuring a Hamsa or Hand or Fatima is thought by many cultures to ward off the evil eye. The brooch is stamped with French hallmarks on both the pin and ring and it is in tip-top antique condition with no breaks in the filigree and the pin and ring in perfect order. To fasten, the pin is pushed through the cloth and you rotate the ring around the pin to give your desired effect.
