A beautiful Georgian 3-stone rose pink garnet and pearl pansy ring bearing full English hallmarks for 1816.
This graceful flower ring is rendered in 12ct yellow gold with a very pretty setting having floral chased shoulders and gold milgrain beading framing the lovely stones. The 3 cushion cut (an antique round cut with squared off corners resembling the old mine cut) garnets are a beautiful shade of raspberry pink and they are accented by 4 little white pearls.
Exquisite workmanship, the rococo setting is open framed and intricate, a gold hoop supports the gemstones at the back and a slim band completes this antique beauty that is proved to be over 200 years old. An incredibly pretty and petite ring that suited the fashionable lightweight floral silk gowns of the romantic Regency era.

CONDITION: Very good antique condition with expected signs of age and wear but no major flaws. There is a tiny chip to the edge of one of the garnets visible only under magnification, all the stones are secure in their settings.
