Engraved on the front with the initials 'ED' this antique Victorian locket is crafted in bright polished sterling silver with two compartments inside to house your mementos or photos and both sides retaining the original silver rings. This is quite a large size locket and it has a large thick gauge oval suspension ring at the top so is pretty versatile for wearing on a variety of necklace chains, ribbons or cords. A beautiful antique treasure bound to bring joy!
MATERIALS: Sterling silver, tested
MEASUREMENTS: 2-1/4 inches high (including ring), 1-1/4 inches wide (58x32mm) and 10mm deep.
DATE: 1890, Victorian

CONDITION: Good condition with expected signs of antique age and wear. A couple of small dents and the locket hinge is loose and slips slightly when closing. Once it is lined up properly it snaps tightly shut with no problems. Care should be taken not to open and close this locket too frequently which will result in excessive wear to the weakened hinge and we have taken this into account with pricing. It is still a gorgeous locket that deserves to be treasured again and with care will last for many more moons to come.
