HALLMARKS: Bracelet, leopards head for London, Elizabeth's head, date letter 'C' 1977 and makers mark 'F.Ld.' The padlock is stamped lion passant, date letter 'A' for 1975 and 'MJ Ld' makers mark.

Beautifully crafted fine quality Victorian 9 carat solid gold chunky curb chain bracelet with a heart padlock clasp. This English bracelet has the lovely pale rose gold hue of antique gold and each and every link is stamped with the old '9C' hallmark, always a sign of a high quality in antique chains. The padlock is a later addition.
During the sentimental Victorian era these bracelets were often given to a sweetheart and they became a popular and enduring engagement gift. They have never gone out of style and remain just as desirable today.

CONDITION: Excellent condition with the clasp in perfect working order. No key is required to open the padlock, the clasp is simply pushed in to flip up and it snaps tightly closed to secure.
