A beautiful sterling silver antique Victorian wide cuff bracelet engraved in a fabulous ivy pattern on the front with the back left silky smooth.
To the Victorians the clinging ivy represented loyalty, fidelity and eternity and these charming sentimentally engraved bracelets were often gifted to fiancés and brides. Victorian jewelry is so romantic and full of symbolism!
The bracelet is close fitting and crafted on the oval in a heavy gauge of sterling silver. It has rolled edges to the top and bottom for comfortable wear, a hinge at one side and a hidden shovel clasp with a push button on the other. A fabulously decorative antique gem, a gorgeous piece that is practical enough for modern wear.
