A fabulous antique Scottish malachite pendant carved in a wonderful sculptural shape resembling a torpedo. This would have originally been worn as fob to decorate a gent's pocket watch chain, today these unique fobs make unique striking pendants for the ladies!
The malachite is a dark emerald green with a silky lustre and richly patterned in black. It is mounted into a gold gilt (gold plated sterling silver) collar that is engraved in a pretty floral pattern. The gold has the lovely rosy colour that you see in antique gold, a subtle rose gold shade that is very attractive. A thick gauge jump ring completes this lovely piece.
We have added a new rose gold plated sterling silver Belcher chain, our chains are made in Italy, they are fully hallmarked and super quality. The "Belcher" is a classic Victorian chain with elegant round links, perfect for our antique pendants!
A fabulous and unique example of Victorian Scottish "pebble" jewellery, ready to wear right out of the box and highly collectable too!
