A beautiful and feminine antique Victorian enamel ring hand-painted in pretty wild roses and violets against a French blue background. A classic decoration reminiscent of the enamel pieces produced in the Bilston and Battersea factories in the 18th century.
Crafted in sterling silver the ring has a substantial d-shaped band and a large chubby oval porcelain face, statement sized she provides fantastic finger coverage!

DATE: Victorian, circa 1900
CONDITION: in moderately good antique condition with hand tooling marks and dings in the silver. The rope trim that frames the bezel has worn away where it touches the knuckles showing this ring has been treasured and worn frequently. There is a small area of paint loss in the centre of the top pink rose showing the porcelain underneath, not particularly noticeable however we have priced this piece with wear in mind so please inspect the photos. Far from being mass produced this charming hand crafted Victorian statement ring deserves to be cherished again!
