A charming and dainty antique Victorian sterling silver narrow cuff bracelet engraved in forget-me-nots and ferns on the front with the back left silky smooth.
An English classic the bracelet is crafted on the oval and has a hinge at one side with a hidden shovel clasp at the other. It is lightweight and has rolled edges at the top and bottom which adds strength and durability to what would be a thin gauge bracelet.
To the Victorians ferns represented constancy and fidelity and forget-me-nots speak for themselves, these beautiful sentimentally engraved bracelets were often gifted to sweethearts and brides. Victorian jewelry is romantic and full of symbolism!
The bracelet beautifully polished and is in good condition with wear as expected in an antique piece. It has faint surface scratches and a few very minor dings on the back, please see the photos. The hinge is in good working order and it closes tightly with a solid snap. A fabulously dainty and genuine gem from the Victorian era, deserves to be treasured again!
