Purchased from a retired jeweller some years ago this stunning vintage London Blue Topaz loose gemstone is emerald cut and weighs a whopping 72.92ct on the scale and measures 25.95mm x 18.29mm by 13.10mm deep. It is a beautiful medium denim blue colour and has been tested using a Presidium Gem Tester. It is internally clean and in very, very good condition showing one or two tiny nibbles to the facet edges under very close magnification but nothing detrimental. We estimate this gemstone to date to the 1970's.
