An impressively sized Victorian 9ct gold spinner fob bearing lovely clear hallmarks for 1896.
A beautiful piece rendered in old gold, a lovely subtle rosy shade of gold, the fob is inlaid with Bloodstone on one side and Carnelian on the other. The Bloodstone is deep forest green and liberally spattered in red with the Carnelian a warm mulled spice colour.
The top of the fob is adorned in a very decorative trombone link chain and a gold hallmarked jump ring completes the piece. Worn to adorn a gentleman's pocket watch chain, fob's of this style and stature are very fashionable now worn as pendants. Gorgeous piece, an absolute classic and a handsome unisex addition to any antique jewellery collection!
