A beautiful Victorian era pendant from the Aesthetic movement of around 1880-1890. The pendant is oval in shape with an adorable pie crust edge. The centre is raised and engraved in pansy flowers framed by a beaded border. In the Victorian language of flowers the pansy says "think of me"

MEASUREMENTS: pendant 1-1/4" (3cm) tall, 1" wide (2.5cm), 5mm deep, the chain measures 18" (46cm)
HALLMARKS: pendant none, acid tested and confirmed sterling, chain stamped '925'
WEIGHT: 6.9 grams total (pendant 4 grams, chain 2.9 grams)
DATE: Victorian, circa 1880
CONDITION: in very, very good condition, with expected signs of antique age like minor surface wear, light scratches and tiny dings but nothing untoward.
