A very pretty and feminine English sterling silver Victorian "Albertina" watch chain bracelet.
Neoclassical in design this "Archaeological Revival" bracelet has snake and twisted rope chains with a hollow puffy Greek urn charm in the centre and Acanthus leaf charms at each end. It has a generously sized dog-clip clasp on one end and a very pretty fox tail tassel charm on the other. With a wearable length of 9" it is the perfect length to fit almost all sizes of wrist.
Named after Queen Victoria's husband Prince Albert, the beautiful Albertina is the feminine version of the Albert pocket watch chain. The versatile Albertina was worn as a bracelet as well as a watch chain.
