This beautiful vintage English sterling silver locket was made by Henry Griffiths & Sons in 1974. A quality piece in a statement size with an elegant slim flat profile it is beautifully engraved on the front in an superb fern flourish pattern with zig-zag accents and the top has a long slim V-shaped bale.
The locket opens from the side to reveal 2 fairly large compartments for precious photos you will put in there, the picture frames are fixed in place so photos simply tuck underneath to hold them in place and there are the original paper liners and clear acetate covers. To finish the locket suspends from a vintage 18" sterling silver curb chain.

CONDITION: in very good condition with light surface wear and minor scratches as you would expect of any vintage silver locket. The hinge is unworn and it shuts tightly with a very solid click.
