Two beautiful vivid green emeralds and three bright white natural zircons grace this Edwardian Revival boat ring hallmarked for 1966.
The eye-catching gemstones that measure roughly 2 carats in total cover the entire front of the finger from side to side. They are slightly graduated and claw set into a beautiful boat shaped yellow gold mount carved into a scroll pattern.
The emeralds are are an intense deep bluey green laced with feathery inclusion deep within. The zircons are a sparkling bright white. Zircons are natural earth-mined gemstones that have long since been used as diamond substitutes, they have a double refractive index and display a fire and brilliance than can rival the finest of diamonds!

MATERIALS: 9ct yellow gold
GEMSTONES: round brilliant cut 2 emeralds 1/2 carat each, 3 white zircon, centre stone 1/2 carat, side stones 1/4ct each. The stones have been tested and verified using a Presidium Gem Tester.
WEIGHT: 3.2 grams
MEASUREMENTS: the front (gemstone spread) measures 20mm across, 6mm top to bottom in the middle graduating to 4.5mm at the sides. The profile stands 4.5mm from the finger. Width of band 2.3mm
HALLMARKS: stamped '9/375' for 9ct gold, 'anchor' for Birmingham, date letter 'R' for 1966 and 'T&G' makers mark

DATE: 1960s, mid-century.
